3D Software

When 3D software was first introduced, it was aimed almost strictly at advanced graphics artists. With their 3D software they could create animation on their computer that was unparalleled in its likeness to the real world. As 3D software continued to develop, its use became more mainstream. As the use of 3D software become more mainstream, sales rose dramatically helping this type of software gain more development. It is now possible for almost any to easily obtain some low cost 3D software to make cartoons on their own computer. Personally, I have no interest in doing so, but I have several friends that have used 3D software for this exact purpose.

In addition to using 3D software for making simple videos, it can also be used for much more complicated visual effects. All of the largest movie studios use 3D software to help create their memorable actions scenes. This has allowed the movie industry to create images that many thought could never be done on screen. Furthermore, 3D software is used extensively by designer and engineers when they are building a new product. The use of 3D software by engineers allows them to better plan whatever they are trying to build in order to help ensure the quality of that product. While you may not realize it, try to consider all of the things in your life that likely used 3D software in its planning phases. I think you will be surprised how often you will see that it has been used.
